The service

Avalon account is a beta service for Institute events, member profiles, and selected communications. Features may change, and occasional interruptions are possible. Use the service lawfully and do not try to access another person’s account or restricted event data.

Event information

Hosts may change or cancel a gathering. The current event page is authoritative; calendar copies and reminders are conveniences and may not reflect a change until they refresh.

Avalon text messages

If text delivery is available and you separately opt in, Avalon may send RSVP confirmations, event reminders, follow-ups, or urgent event changes for the events or topics you choose. Message frequency varies with those choices. Consent to texts is optional and is not required to create an account or attend an event. Message and data rates may apply.

Reply STOP to any Avalon text to pause all Avalon texts to that number. Reply HELP for help, or email account@avalon.institute. You can also change event and topic choices in your account. Mobile carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.

Accounts and removal

Keep your sign-in information private. You may remove your phone, opt out of communications, or delete your account from Profile. Avalon may suspend abusive or security-sensitive use.
